President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia’s goals in Ukraine remain unchanged.

Addressing a Press Confrence at Kremlin in Moscow today, he said that there will be peace when Russia achieves its goals. Mr. Putin reiterated that Russia is seeking de-Nazification, de-militarization, and a neutral status of Ukraine.

He stressed that Russian forces were improving their positions along the front line. In a rare detail, Mr Putin said, around 6,17,000 troops were in the battlefields in Ukraine.

The Russian President said, Ukraine had lost some of its best fighters while trying to secure a foothold on the east bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
